Job Details
Job Title: Release/Change Manager
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid 2 3 days onsite)
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate software/infrastructure releases across platforms and teams.
- Conduct release readiness reviews and manage go/no-go checkpoints.
- Develop deployment runbooks and implementation plans.
- Ensure version control and configuration management compliance.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams for successful deployments.
- Manage the lifecycle of all changes in alignment with governance policies.
- Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and document decisions.
- Maintain change calendars and coordinate with stakeholders to avoid conflicts.
- Track and report change metrics including success rates and incident impacts.
- Support project managers in planning and tracking initiatives.
- Create and maintain annual release/change calendars.
- Act as liaison between infrastructure, development, and business teams.
Required Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation or Practitioner certification.
- Experience in utilities, or logistics industries.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
- Experience working in a hybrid work model.
- 5+ years of experience in release and/or change management roles.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and SDLC.
- Experience managing large-scale deployments across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
