Job Title: Microsoft Sentinel Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite/Hybrid preferred)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Microsoft Sentinel Engineer with strong hands-on experience in log optimization, log parsing, and implementing SIEM solutions using Microsoft Sentinel. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in designing, deploying, and managing Sentinel environments with a focus on security event monitoring and incident detection.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, optimize, and manage Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM) for real-time log analysis and monitoring.
  • Develop log parsing and data normalization strategies to ensure accurate threat detection.
  • Create custom detections, analytic rules, workbooks, and dashboards.
  • Work closely with SOC teams to investigate alerts, respond to incidents, and fine-tune Sentinel configurations.
  • Integrate Sentinel with other Microsoft and third-party security solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security requirements.
  • Stay updated with Microsoft security technologies and best practices.

Skills Required:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM).
  • Expertise in log optimization and parsing techniques.
  • Good understanding of KQL (Kusto Query Language).
  • Experience in integrating Sentinel with Azure services and third-party tools.
  • Familiarity with security operations, incident response, and threat detection.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
