Description
Our client is looking for experienced Field Service Technicians that can play a key role in supporting and modernizing asphalt plant operations across the region.
Location: open to anywhere in Upper Midwest U.S.
Install, maintain, and repair asphalt plant equipment including drum mixers, conveyors, burners, and control systems at customer sites.
Handle retrofits and rewiring of legacy equipment, working with 480V, 120V, and 24VDC electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to ensure plant uptime and performance.
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with operational standards.
Participate in extensive on-the-job training, starting with basic tasks and progressing to more complex retrofit projects.
Provide technical support and training to plant personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
Document service activities and equipment conditions using detailed reports and digital tools for maintenance tracking and compliance.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to communicate field insights and support continuous product improvement.
Ideal candidates have prior experience in electrical contracting, panel building, or motor control center (MCC) work.

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $74000.00/hr.
