The Systems Administrator is an entry-level IT professional responsible for assisting in the management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of an organizations computer systems and networks. They work under the guidance of senior administrators to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user devices. This role requires a solid understanding of IT principles and technologies, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication, follow up, and troubleshooting skills. Must have strong ability to isolate problems and determine/implement solutions, as well as dedication to take the initiative to own and resolve customer issues.
Responsibilities:
Providing support for Golgi administrations and Microsoft administration tasks.
Assisting in remote desktop troubleshooting to resolve technical issues for end-users.
Collaborating with the team to implement new software and configurations through Intune.
Conducting Intune administration tasks such as policy management and device enrollment.
Managing asset inventory and stock of computers, ensuring accurate records and tracking.
Imaging computers for new hires, ensuring they are set up with necessary software and configurations.
Packing and shipping equipment for new hires or for equipment returns.
Assisting senior administrators with various tasks as needed, including system upgrades, maintenance, and documentation.
Monitor and respond quickly to incoming requests related to IT issues.
Resolve problems or escalation on behalf of users to appropriate support teams.
Support and troubleshoot printers, copiers, and other network devices.
Assist with onboarding of new users.
Creating, maintaining, and deleting user accounts.
Assist in identifying resolution gaps within the help desk.
Support and maintain effective relationships with end users.
Maintains excellent punctuality and attendance during work hours.

Qualifications:
Required:
- 2+ years of related experience in a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT principles and technologies.
- Familiarity with Golgi administrations, Microsoft administration, and Intune administration is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Eagerness to tackle problems outside your core competencies and learn new technologies as required.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and security principles.
- Familiarity with healthcare technology and compliance regulations is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Team player with proven ability to develop strong working relationships within a matrix organization.
Preferred:
- 1-3 years of proven experience in Helpdesk or Junior System Administration roles.
- Experience with Microsoft o365, Exchange, Azure Active Directory administration.
- Experience with inventory management.
- General HCBS and/or Long-Term Support Services (LTSS) product and customer knowledge.
