World Wide Technology is looking for a Azure Engineer Mid-Level. This job is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services.

The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners.

Job Title: Azure Engineer Mid-Level

Location: Remote *Prefer candidates to sit as close to Phoenix as possible. Open to resources sitting nearshore in Mexico*

Duration: 6 Months +

Note:

Troubleshooting/support workload has increased to a level that is impacting both IT & the business and the support has become a critical business need. Seeking a resource to come in to help support troubleshooting needs with little to no hand-holding

Description:

Ideal candidate will be responsible for providing day 2 type support and troubleshooting of networking and security infrastructure within the client environment.

This remote position will require strong technical skills in areas such as Azure networking, firewall troubleshooting, F5 WAF support, and packet capture analysis.

The candidate must be able to work independently and take on a workload off senior engineers to help with the increased troubleshooting and support needs impacting both IT and the business.

The role offers the opportunity to work within a Fortune 150 Global environment.

Resource will be responsible for not just performing troubleshooting and support as well as contributing to the continuous improvement of operational efficiency within the team.

The ideal candidate will have a Security-first mindset and be able to effectively communicate with business stakeholders, product managers, and other technical teams. There is potential for the role to extend beyond the initial 6-month duration based on project completion and performance

Skills/Must Haves:

1. Azure networking (App gateways)

2. Day 2 type support & troubleshooting of firewalls (candidate must be proficient in Firepower, Azure or Palo Alto firewalls)

3. F5 WAF (support of recent implementation .URL not working, now what)... A. Will be verifying that traffic/return traffic is reaching the firewall; answering questions like, I m having a n issue, this web page won t load, why?; must be able to read packet captures and help user find answer

Current team: (4) network engineers & (1) wireless engineer ..This mid-level engineer would provide support and take workload off of Sr. Engineer
