Job Description:

Apex Systems, a World-Class Technology Solutions Provider, is currently hiring a Mid-Level and a Senior Product Designer, to remotely join a healthcare insurance company. Ideal candidates will have the experience below; please note only qualified candidates will be contacted.

Position: Mid and Senior Product Designer

Location: Remote in the US

Duration: W2 Contract to FTE

Hours: Monday-Friday; EST/CST, 8:30 am to 5 pm

Pay Range $38-60/hr W2, paid for hours worked

Responsibilities:
  • Projects can include: flow & page updates for the logged-in consumer experience; page to access account information, check claims and find providers; flows to purchase health, dental, vision and Medicare plans; payment experiences; digital forms; page layouts and flows for the public website; component enhancements for the public site
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and create user-centered design solutions.
  • Create visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces that align with our brand and accessibility guidelines, leveraging your understanding of human psychology and design principle
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
  • Participate in user research and usability testing.
  • Create visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Maintain design consistency and ensure seamless interaction across touchpoints.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Share best practices and mentor junior designers.


Requirements:
  • Shareable digital portfolio that includes UX workflows (flows, processes, imagery, case studies)
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products.
  • Define product requirements and create user-centered design solutions
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and user flows.
  • UX writing, content hierarchy and comfortable adding placeholder content into their own designs (not lorem ipsum)
  • Experience with Figma, including auto layout and building functional prototypes.


We are not looking for a brand/marketing designer. If you have experience there, its fine, but were aiming for someone with strong UX skills and an eye for pixel-perfect visuals.
