Job Details

We are looking for a seasoned Oracle DBA with 7 8 years of experience to manage and optimize Oracle databases, including production systems, backups, and cloud migrations. Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle 19c, performance tuning, Azure Cloud migration, and security is essential. Familiarity with Oracle 23ai is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Oracle databases (on-prem & cloud) ensuring performance, availability & security

  • Handle query tuning, backup & recovery (RMAN), patching, and upgrades

  • Plan and execute migration of on-prem databases to Azure Cloud

  • Implement disaster recovery using Data Guard and manage high availability setups

  • Enforce security policies, auditing, and access controls

  • Collaborate with development teams for database optimization

  • Monitor DB health and resolve performance issues proactively

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years as an Oracle DBA with strong knowledge of Oracle 19c

  • Hands-on with SQL, PL/SQL, RMAN, RAC, and performance tuning

  • Experience in cloud migration (Azure preferred)

  • Understanding of Oracle 23ai is a bonus

  • Bachelor s in Computer Science or related field

  • Preferred: Oracle OCP/OCM, scripting (Shell/Python)
