About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Deskside Technician End User Computing to provide hands-on support for end-user computing devices and peripherals at our corporate locations. This role requires troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and networked equipment, while ensuring SLAs are met and customers receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite operational and technical support to authorized users.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and related peripherals.
- Install, upgrade, and migrate Windows 7/10 systems in large enterprise environments.
- Perform reactive troubleshooting to prevent future incidents.
- Support network connectivity for LAN, WAN, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Configure and maintain hardware, applications, and backup/recovery tools (Ghost, MDT, USMT).
- Provide VIP support and manage printer configurations and queues.
- Track and report customer calls and requests using problem management systems.
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.
Qualifications:
- 3 5 years of experience in EUC support and Windows environments.
- Strong knowledge of imaging tools (Ghost, MDT) and backup/recovery solutions (USMT).
- Experience installing, upgrading, and migrating Windows 7/10 systems.
- Knowledge of configuring hardware, software, network connectivity, and mobile computing platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
