Location : Remote + Travel Work Location : NY ( they need to come for Demo whenever client needs)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Emarsys Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and managing the SAP Emarsys marketing automation platform to help businesses drive customer engagement, personalized marketing, and revenue growth across digital channels. You will work closely with marketing, IT, and customer experience teams to ensure the effective use of the platform for personalized campaigns, customer segmentation, and data-driven marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. SAP Emarsys Implementation & Configuration:
    • Lead and support the end-to-end implementation of SAP Emarsys, from system configuration to campaign execution.
    • Configure and customize the platform to meet business requirements, including campaign workflows, email templates, customer segmentation, and data integration.
    • Integrate SAP Emarsys with other SAP solutions such as SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Marketing Cloud, and third-party platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and unified customer profiles.
  2. Customer Segmentation & Personalization:
    • Leverage SAP Emarsys to create highly targeted customer segments based on behavioural data, demographics, and purchase history.
    • Develop and implement personalized email, SMS, push, and web campaigns that are tailored to customer preferences and needs.
    • Use AI-driven personalization tools within Emarsys to deliver relevant content and offers to customers across all digital touchpoints.
  3. Campaign Management & Execution:
    • Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications, etc.) using SAP Emarsys to drive customer engagement and conversions.
    • Manage the creation, scheduling, and monitoring of automated customer journeys, ensuring that campaigns align with business goals and KPIs.
    • Continuously monitor campaign performance, make data-driven adjustments, and provide reports on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI.
  4. Data Integration & Management:
    • Work with the IT team to integrate SAP Emarsys with existing CRM, eCommerce, and other business systems for seamless data synchronization and a unified view of customer interactions.
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer data within Emarsys, including handling data import/export, segmentation, and customer profile updates.
    • Implement best practices for data governance and compliance, particularly around data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  5. Analytics & Reporting:
    • Leverage SAP Emarsys analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, customer engagement, and revenue generation.
    • Provide regular reports on campaign performance and customer behavior, offering actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies.
    • Use data analysis to recommend improvements for campaign targeting, content, and overall marketing performance.
  6. Optimization & Troubleshooting:
    • Continuously analyze and optimize campaigns, workflows, and customer journeys within SAP Emarsys to improve performance, deliverability, and customer engagement.
    • Troubleshoot issues related to campaign execution, integrations, and data synchronization, working with the technical team to resolve them quickly.
    • Stay up-to-date with new SAP Emarsys features, enhancements, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Training & Support:
    • Provide training and support to marketing teams on best practices for using SAP Emarsys effectively, from campaign creation to reporting and analysis.
    • Assist teams in troubleshooting and resolving any issues they encounter while using the platform.
    • Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials to ensure that business users can fully leverage the platform s capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

    • Minimum of [X] years of experience working with SAP Emarsys, including hands-on experience in campaign execution, customer segmentation, and integration.
    • Proven experience in marketing automation, customer engagement, and email marketing strategies.
    • Experience working with other SAP solutions, such as SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, or similar CRM and marketing platforms.
    • Familiarity with integrating SAP Emarsys with third-party systems, such as CRM, eCommerce, or data management platforms.

Technical Skills:

    • Strong proficiency with SAP Emarsys features, including email marketing, push notifications, customer segmentation, and personalization.
    • Experience with data integration tools and platforms, including API integrations, CSV data imports/exports, and CRM integrations.
    • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email template design and customization.
    • Understanding of marketing automation best practices, analytics, and campaign optimization techniques.
    • Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools, including SAP Emarsys Analytics and/or external reporting platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).

Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data to improve campaign performance.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and business stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
    • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to ensure smooth campaign execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Certification in SAP Emarsys or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and experience integrating these systems with SAP Emarsys.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) as they relate to marketing automation.
