About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Quality Engineer II to strengthen our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in upholding supplier quality, spearheading process enhancements, and ensuring adherence to industry standards. Acting as a key point of contact between our organization and suppliers, you will be instrumental in safeguarding product quality and ensuring reliability across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify technical issues with suppliers and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Drive structural quality and process improvements.
  • Act as the primary liaison for suppliers and manage supply chain quality interactions.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Apply engineering expertise to support product transition requirements and enhance quality reliability.
  • Participate in local Quality Audits and Regulatory Compliance assessments.
  • Maintain and update the Suppliers Quality Ranking System.
  • Conduct performance reviews with suppliers and manage process control initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, certifications, and database entries.
  • Prioritize and resolve critical customer complaints related to product quality.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives at both internal and external sites.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or scientific field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supplier or Supply Chain Quality roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge of products, systems, and integrated solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of quality standards and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Certified Belt preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality challenges.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural environments.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel to Mexico may be required to provide backup support for two on-site Quality Engineers at our Video EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) site.
  • Travel is expected to be infrequent—approximately 1 to 2 trips over the course of the 12-month contract.
  • Each trip is anticipated to last around one week, with all transportation expenses covered by the company.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in a technical or scientific field.
  • Experience with Distribution Centers and Product Manufacturing processes.
