The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

As an Application Developer Sr Principal, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of AmeriCorps, the public service agency of the United States government. You will play a crucial role in the following responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and customize solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to meet customer needs
- Create custom forms, views, plugins, and workflows
- Facilitate integration of MS Dynamics 365 CRM data with other customer platforms and systems to ensure effective and efficient information flows
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand design requirements and translate into solutions within MS Dynamics 365
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure solutions meet functional requirements and customer objectives before deployment
- Provide technical support for existing MS Dynamics 365 deployments and systems
- Maintain and support deployments within MS Dynamics 365 throughout their lifecycle
- Design and develop custom applications, modules, and features on the ServiceNow platform
- Implement and customize ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change) and ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management)
- Implement Discovery patterns, classifiers, and MID Servers to ensure accurate Configuration Item data in the CMDB
- Develop integrations with other enterprise systems using web services (REST, SOAP) and other relevant technologies
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders of the ServiceNow platform to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions
- Assist with ServiceNow platform upgrades, provide post-implementation support, and troubleshoot issues as necessary
- Ensure solutions adhere to ITIL frameworks and ServiceNow development best practices
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve other technical issues as needed
- Ensure the integrity and security of applications and customer data
- Create and maintain documentation for all technical and functional workflows
- May lead and mentor junior staff as needed
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Application Developer Sr Principal must have:
- Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree plus 8+ years of related experience
Required Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate)
- Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and/or ASP.NET
- Knowledge of SQL and integration of servers with CRM systems
- Experience with ServiceNow Development, including ITSM and ITOM modules
- Experience with the ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management features
- Experience with REST, SOAP, and other integration methods
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Understanding of ITIL principles and how to apply them to deliver business value
- Ability to assess requirements, analyze solutions, and translate into technical resolutions
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
