Job Title: Mulesoft Tool Administration/API Development
Clearance Required: Secret
Work Location: Washington DC & Remote (3 days a week on client site required)

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver APIs & Integrations
    • Write API specs in OAS, RAML or AsyncAPI in a guided web interface
    • Use software to generate documentation and code snippets automatically
    • Simulate expected behavior with a shareable mocking service
    • Apply governance rules and validate conformance during design
    • Integrate with common databases, applications, and systems of record using prebuilt connectors
    • Create reusable connectors with a built-in SDK
    • Convert any REST API design spec into connectors
    • Create a unified API schema to democratize data access across ECA
    • Run DataGraph as a SaaS app to reduce overhead and maintenance
    • Consume and reuse multiple APIs in a single GraphQL request to innovate faster
    • Implement and run tests with the built-in testing framework
    • Generate tests automatically from RAML API design specs
    • Deploy/Implement Modern Architectures & Applications
    • Reduce application response times and costs with high performance on a small footprint
    • Deploy to targets using web UI or via CI/CD pipelines, where applicable
    • Deploy to VPCs, VMs, or on-prem servers, and change deployment targets
    • Scale and redeploy applications with zero downtime
  • Manage APIs, Services, & Deployments
    • Deploy gateways to APIs in ECA managed environments
    • Apply pre-built or custom policies to individual or groups of APIs
    • Manage fine grained access to APIs with tiered SLAs natively or with IdP
    • Monitor APIs, dependencies, and integrations to ensure performance and resiliency
    • Analyze, detect trends, and get alerted on KPIs, policy violations and user interactions
  • Operationalize API Governance & Ensure API Security Best Practices
    • Govern every API to consistent standards and best practices
    • Enable developers to self-serve governance rules and validate conformance
    • Automatically enforce governance standards to new APIs
    • Eliminate vulnerabilities at the network edge based on observed attack patterns at the API gateway
    • Enforce security by configuring mandatory policies
    • Hide sensitive data with format-preserving tokenization to reduce compliance scope
    • Adhere to security best practices with built-in identity management, encryption modules, penetration testing policies, and audit logs
    • Reduce time to market with ready to use assets: prebuilt connectors, common integration pattern templates, governance rules, and best practice examples, as applicable

Required Skills/Experience:
  • 3-5 years of Mulesoft Administration and API Development experience
