Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for a Senior Specialist (Communications) with a major corporation in Burbank, CA.

This role requires employees to be on-site Mon-Thurs and remote on Fri. This may also require OT - include working mornings/nights, and weekends as needed, but not guaranteed.

Pay Rate: $50 - $56/hr DOE

Description:
This multifaceted Communications team supports multiple lines of business across The Company, including Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Platform Distribution (PD), and Entertainment & Product and Technology (DEEPT). Help drive brand and corporate communications for the three segments, as well as support a range of events at all stages.

Reporting into the Communications Manager DTC & PD, the Senior Specialist will be an integral member of the team, working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to support and implement communication strategies across the DTC brands and content (including Streaming), PD deals, and DEEPT initiatives.
A significant portion of this role will focus on the planning and execution of high-impact internal and external events from employee town halls and leadership meetings to activations including Accelerator Demo Day.

The Senior Specialist will also collaborate closely with team leaders on key initiatives, such as executive award submissions and earnings report recaps. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset and operational agility to manage multiple programs simultaneously, ensuring seamless coordination and communication across business segments.

We are seeking someone who can thoughtfully balance multiple programs from strategic planning through tactical execution across businesses and teams, possesses strong critical thinking skills and a knack for simplifying complex information. The role requires someone with outstanding organization, who can wear multiple hats at once, and has a strong ability to collaborate and connect with multiple teams.
Collaborate on tracking, analyzing, and synthesizing industry reports into clear and concise insights for key internal stakeholders, such as quarterly earnings recaps.
Partner and advise on all internal event needs, including location scouting, on-the-ground support, and tracking vendor needs.
Support ongoing implementation of executive communications efforts, including award submissions and speaking opportunities.
Contribute to key projects, including PR plans, messaging documents, and other written materials.
Assist with brand reputation and crisis response efforts, including press monitoring and issue tracking during key moments.
Support ongoing efforts to amplify the performance of our content with press and key stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, publicity, or internal communications.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to manage deadline-driven writing projects with minimal oversight.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and project prioritization abilities.
Comfortable navigating multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Proactive, solutions-oriented team player with a positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
Naturally curious and eager to learn about all aspects of the business and industry landscape.
Discreet and professional when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
A bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with supporting large, internal and external events that require liaising with multiple vendors.
Familiarity and knowledge of our streaming brands and the company's streaming, television, theatrical, and third-party licensed content.
Experience in the entertainment or tech industry is ideal
