Description
We are looking for an experienced Help Desk Analyst III to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to grow into a leadership role. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing desktop support for corporate operations, ensuring seamless functionality across devices and systems.
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite desktop support Monday through Friday, with occasional remote work and on-call weekend support as required.
Manage and maintain Windows and Mac systems, ensuring smooth performance and functionality.
Offer technical assistance for printers, audio-visual equipment, imaging devices, and other hardware.
Perform software installations and updates, including Office 365 applications, Active Directory configurations, and Azure integrations.
Handle the setup and maintenance of Lenovo laptops and other computer hardware.
Deliver exceptional customer service to users, adapting communication styles to suit varying needs.
Support c-level executives with high-level technical solutions and professionalism.
Collaborate with the team to explore automation solutions, such as transitioning to Autopilot for imaging processes.
Work independently while maintaining trust and reliability in handling tasks.
Assist in managing seasonal fluctuations in user support needs, ranging from 300-500 users.
Requirements
Proven experience in desktop support at a mid-to-senior level.
Proficiency in supporting both Mac and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365 installations and management.
Hands-on experience with computer hardware, including Lenovo laptops and imaging devices.
Strong knowledge of configuration management and deployment processes.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities.
Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of trust.
Experience with supporting executives in a corporate environment.
