Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with 10 years of industry experience to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization, as well as excellent communication skills. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders to define objectives, analyze data, and present actionable insights through compelling narratives and visualizations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, applying statistical and quantitative tools to interpret data and formulate deep-level insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business objectives and key results (OKRs) and establish success metrics to measure progress.
• Design and develop visualizations, reports, and dashboards that provide clear narratives and deep-dive capabilities.
• Develop compelling narratives to communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, providing actionable recommendations based on findings.
• Develop and implement predictive and forecasting models using techniques such as regression, clustering, and classification, and refine models based on performance metrics.
• Formulate hypotheses to address business questions and develop comprehensive research plans, utilizing appropriate data collection tools and methods.
• Conduct research and experiments to answer questions or test hypotheses, generating actionable insights from findings.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of industry experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches, including defining metrics, monitoring key metrics, and conducting exploratory analysis.
• 10 years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), and statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R).
• Strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay Range: $90- $100

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
