Job Details
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java-based logic libraries.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to implement core banking functionalities.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to best practices.
- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Analyze existing systems and provide recommendations for improvement or migration.
- Work closely with QA and DevOps teams for deployment and release cycles.
- Document technical designs and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Core, Boot, MVC), RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture.
- Experience working with banking, financial institutions, or fintech platforms.
- Proficient in design patterns, multi-threading, exception handling, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Maven, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server).
- Exposure to messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy regulations.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ICBA-related systems or community banking platforms.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design and cloud-native application development (AWS preferred).
- Prior work in Agile/Scrum development teams.
