Cloud Security Engineer / Azure SME / Remote

This global manufacturing company is expanding it's security department on all fronts, and they need a sharp Cloud Security Engineer. This person will be implementing security architecture, integrating tools into Azure, and develop plans to further secure their cloud environment. A deep understanding and strong experience in securing Azure environments is a must. If you are an Azure Security SME and are interested in an individual contributor role with a high amount of impact, look no further!

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of experience in cloud security, specifically Azure. Strong technical knowledge and ability to be hands on keyboard are required. Experience working with other security teams (SecOps, etc) is a must, and any threat hunting experience is a huge plus. This is a fully remote role as long as you reside in an EST state in the United States.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in cloud security
  • Azure required
• Strong experience in blue team security - vulnerability management, incident response, SIEM, recommending remediation practices, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Threat hunting experience
• Any relevant security certifications, particularly in Azure
