Job Title: Systems Engineer POS/End Point Windows OS Imaging & Customization

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Windows OS imaging and Point of Sale (POS) systems to support a major retail client. This position involves developing and deploying customized Windows OS images for bare-metal machines, integrating POS peripheral devices, and ensuring seamless system performance across retail environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain Windows OS images (ISO) for bare-metal deployments in retail settings.
Utilize Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for image creation, automation, and deployment workflows.
Configure and manage PXE boot environments for network-based imaging.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate deployment tasks and system configurations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the POS ecosystem, ensuring compatibility and performance.
Integrate and validate POS peripheral devices within the OS image, including:
Receipt printers
Barcode scanners
Cash drawers
Magnetic stripe readers (MSRs)
Troubleshoot imaging and device integration issues across diverse hardware platforms.
