SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As an Azure Engineer you will design, implement, and optimize our Azure-based solutions. As a key member of our IT team, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our Azure cloud infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Azure Solution Design and Implementation
- Design, architect, and implement scalable and reliable Azure solutions based on business requirements.
- Lead the development and deployment of Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure services into existing systems and applications.
- Infrastructure Optimization and Performance Management:
- Conduct regular performance assessments of Azure environments, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure proactive identification and resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enforce Azure governance policies and compliance standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 1 years of specific experience in designing and implementing Azure solutions.
- Proven track record of leading successful Azure projects from conception to delivery.
- Managed and operated critical infrastructure in a hosted environment.
- Solid experience with enterprise operating systems, primarily Windows Server 2016
- Practical experience with device and application monitoring tools (ex: Site24x7, New Relic, CloudWatch)
- General knowledge of web application hosting, everything from load balancing to database management
- Experience installing and managing common database applications
