Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver robust Workday reports and dashboards to support HR initiatives.
  • Act as SME for Workday reporting tools; advise on best practices and data governance.
  • Handle BAU report requests, change tickets, and data validation support.
  • Develop calculated fields and optimize existing reports for efficiency and usability.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to provide qualified data from Workday.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by promoting a data-first culture in HR.
  • Participate in high-visibility HR transformation initiatives.

Must-Have Skills

  1. 5+ years of experience with Workday HCM reporting
  2. Deep knowledge of Workday Object Model, Report Writer, Calculated Fields
  3. Experience creating Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports
  4. Exposure to Dashboarding in Workday (Discovery Boards a plus)
  5. Experience with Workday Security as it pertains to report access
  6. Experience with HR lifecycle processes (onboarding to separation)
  7. Understanding of Workday Prism Analytics and ETL pipelines
  8. Experience supporting large-scale HR transformation projects
  9. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  10. Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Workday Certifications:
    • HCM (Pro or Implementer)
    • Advanced Reporting
    • Prism Analytics
  • Prior experience in a consulting role on HR projects
  • Experience with finance-related Workday data is a bonus

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable collaborating across cross-functional teams
  • Capable of translating technical content for non-technical stakeholders

Education

  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent required
  • Workday certifications preferred but not mandatory
