Job Title: ServiceNow ITSM QA Tester / Documentation REMOTE _USA
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented ITSM QA Tester / Documentation Specialist to support ServiceNow ITSM implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in testing ITSM modules, ensuring process quality, and creating clear functional and technical documentation aligned with ITIL best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual QA testing for ServiceNow ITSM modules.
- Validate end-to-end ITSM workflows including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA / ALM.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and user guides.
- Review BRDs, FRDs, and configuration documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Support UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Ensure ITSM processes align with ITIL standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as an ITSM QA Tester or ServiceNow QA.
- Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow ITSM modules:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Request Management
- Knowledge Management
- Strong experience in QA documentation:
- Test plans, test cases, SOPs, user manuals
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, ALM, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Good understanding of ITIL processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Good to Have
- Experience with ServiceNow ATF or automation testing exposure.
- ITIL Foundation or ServiceNow CSA certification.
- Experience in enterprise or managed services environments.
