Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onboarding demos and hands-on walkthroughs for customer data science teams, showcasing platform capabilities and how to efficiently leverage Databricks, JupyterHub, and AWS SageMaker/Bedrock.
- Guide customer teams through their initial onboarding milestones including access setup, cluster provisioning, pipeline usage, model experimentation, and promotion workflows.
- Serve as a technical point-of-contact for customer users during their onboarding phase, helping translate platform services into value for their specific use cases.
- Build secure and reproducible data science pipelines, including data wrangling, feature engineering, and model development using Databricks and AWS-native tools.
- Leverage MLflow for model versioning, experiment tracking, and lifecycle governance.
- Integrate with CI/CD workflows (Bitbucket, Bamboo) and infrastructure services (S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Ensure transparency, traceability, and appropriate security handling in line with best practices and applicable compliance standards.
- Implement Responsible AI Toolboxes and support ethical governance of ML/LLM models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional platform teams (Infra, Trustworthy AI, CSx) to support onboarding and operationalization of AI/ML workloads.
- Provide documentation and guidance that enables repeatability and accelerates customer success on the platform.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Master's (or Bachelor's with equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years in data science roles within cloud environments (preferably AWS).
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, JupyterHub, MLflow, Bitbucket, and AWS tools (S3, Lambda, SageMaker, Bedrock).
- Strong Python, SQL, R, and Spark proficiency.
- Experience working in regulated or government environments.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle management, data privacy, and ethical model practices.
Desired Skills:
- AWS or ML-related certifications.
- Familiarity with government compliance and governance frameworks.
- Experience in customer-facing data science or platform enablement roles.
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
