This is a design-driven, client-facing role ideal for a proactive professional who thrives at the intersection of creativity, engineering, and customer collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Support Sales Teams: Partner with sales during early client engagement, including site visits, needs assessments, and solution presentations.
- Design Solutions: Create high-performance AV system designs (Zoom/Teams, Audio Systems, LED walls, Camera switching, Collaboration tools).
- Develop Documentation: Produce equipment diagrams, infrastructure requirements, executive summaries, and cost estimates.
- Client-Focused Engineering: Attend design meetings with clients, architects, and consultants to ensure alignment with vision and feasibility.
- Showcase Technology: Coordinate with vendors to evaluate and present emerging technologies.
- Project Handoffs: Ensure seamless transitions from design to implementation.
- Quality Control: Review completed systems to ensure they meet design intent.
- Drive Innovation: Stay current on AV trends and mentor peers through knowledge-sharing.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in AV design or engineering.
- CTS-D and/or CTS-I certification (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit (preferred).
- Strong technical acumen and blueprint/schematic literacy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Collaborative and solutions-driven mindset.
