Immediate need for a talented Technician: Manufacturing - II (Day). This is a 18 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Hillsboro, OR (On-site). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $23 - $24.50/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operates complex equipment and analytical tools in an ESD environment.
  • Technicians are required to wear ESD lab coat and conductive shoe straps along with safety glasses during work.
  • Multi-tasked responsibilities may include minor preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, non-standard processing and problem-solving.
  • Primary job duties are to maximize output using constraint management techniques while sustaining process, equipment issues, training and cross training cluster members.
  • Position requires working efficiently from standard procedures and specifications.
  • Some, if not all, tasks performed require `repetitive motion to an extent.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills; 1 - 3 years work experience in Semiconductor lab or cleanroom, work experience in production. Computer software exp, MS office.
  • AA degree in related field, including computer software, semi conductor, etc. OR Strong military experience w/ some post-high school education (degree not required).
  • OR HS diploma or GED equivalent with experience in lieu of more than 3 years exp.
  • Strongly prefer min AS degree.
  • Previous Client experience in a lab or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with utilizing basic electronic assembly tools e.g., wire strippers, cutters, soldering irons, electric torque drivers, and screw drivers.
  • Some background in small electrical devices manufacturing a plus.
