Position: Anaplan Solution Consultant
Location: Richardson, TX or Santa Barbara, CA
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Solution Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Anaplan model design, development, and integration, with the ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate closely with business users and technical teams. This role requires hands-on experience in developing scalable Anaplan solutions, driving user adoption, and ensuring successful delivery across sprints.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in Agile methodology, understand user stories in sprints, and translate them into Anaplan deliverables.
- Collaborate with business users to resolve blockers and clarify requirements during sprint development.
- Conduct sessions with end users to demonstrate developed functionalities in Anaplan and related platforms (e.g., Rakefet).
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage Anaplan integrations with source systems.
- Drive and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate activities, and publish test results.
- Create functional and technical SOP documents for end users on Anaplan-developed models.
- Manage migration of Anaplan models to production workspaces and support end-user issues.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users on Anaplan models and UXILI.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in Anaplan model design and development, adhering to PLAN standards.
- Experience with Anaplan UX/UI capabilities, including developing wireframes for desktop and mobile users.
- Hands-on knowledge of Anaplan Connect and REST API for integrating Anaplan with source systems.
- Solid understanding of Financial Close processes (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
- Expertise in user roles, security management, and workflow design in Anaplan.
- Strong knowledge of model and workspace management best practices.
- Additional business knowledge in Sales & Operational Planning, Quota & Compensation Planning is highly preferred.
- Anaplan Solution Architect Certification with FP&A planning background required.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and production support experience.
- Delivery-focused, with proven ability to meet project timelines.
- Familiarity with Line Item Subsets (LISS) and advanced Anaplan features.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- Anaplan Certified Solution Architect (mandatory).
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Anaplan experience in design, build, and deployment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
