Job Title: SAP FICO
Location: Miramar, FL - Onsite - preference is onsite in Miramar
but open to remote if not local.
In office, 3 days per week (T,W,TH) - open to Dallas, TX as well.
Job Description Must Haves Must know how to set up the system and understand finance business processes and how SAP works to ensure proper configuration. Accounting/financial/business process knowledge is encouraged and good to have. Knowledge of all SAP Financials (e.g., cost center, profitability, etc.). Experience with CLM: Contract Lease Management module (may be noted as REFX as well). Must have experience with 3 full-cycle implementations. Must have knowledge/experience in at least 1 or 2 of the various cloud apps: Ariba Concur Fieldglass Blackline Vertex Most critical: Blackline and Vertex. Knowledge of workflows for IDOCs is a plus. Preferred: Experience with S/4 HANA. Soft Skills Clear written and verbal communication will be working with accounting and finance teams. Patience with users. Strong collaboration skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Able to multitask and work independently. Proactive and self-motivated. About the Role The team handles three key areas: Break/Fix Smaller projects / Enhancements Major projects Includes a weekly rotation for ticketing (one week per person). The team is highly collaborative. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure high-quality software deliverables by leveraging best practices. Diagnose and resolve complex software issues by analyzing root causes and assessing their impact on business processes and system performance. Conduct gap analysis to identify business requirements and map them to software functionality. Take initiative in proactively integrating solutions with other applications and platforms. Contribute to the establishment and refinement of configuration guidelines and standards, promoting best practices within the team. Execute configuration tasks to tailor software solutions to meet specific requirements and enhance user experience. Resolve incidents timely and effectively to minimize business process disruptions and ensure system reliability. Develop and maintain functional specifications and user guides for enhancements and integrations. Implement high-quality solutions emphasizing a fit-to-standard approach to reduce customization. Design, configure, and rigorously test assigned software components following established methodologies. Implement automated testing and integrate best practices to enhance software quality and delivery speed. Conduct configuration reviews to ensure quality assurance, incorporating feedback into configuration artifacts and practices. Apply Agile methodology to deliver desired functionality quickly and effectively while iterating to refine configuration. Minimum Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, etc.) or equivalent education and work experience. Typically 3 5 years of experience with full lifecycle implementations and providing support. SAP module certifications (e.g., SAP FICO) are desirable. Experience in Agile methodology (preferred). Deep understanding of SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules. Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP FICO to meet business requirements. Knowledge of SAP FICO integration with other SAP modules (e.g., Sales and Distribution). Experience with SAP S/4 HANA (highly desirable). Experience with other cloud-based solutions (e.g., Ariba, Concur, Fieldglass, Blackline, Vertex). Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel), SQL, and data migration. Familiarity with IDOCs and basic ABAP for debugging. Experience in directing team workflows. Fluent / native-level proficiency in English. Preferred Skills Deep knowledge of software design principles and concepts. In-depth understanding of software implementation lifecycles and Agile methodologies. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across functional and non-functional disciplines. Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business requirements. Demonstrated release and deployment skills to drive Agile release processes and improve deployment cycles. Strong testing skills to identify errors and improve process robustness. Analytical ability to investigate, interpret, and draw conclusions from information. Clear articulation of complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders (both verbal and written). Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative products and services.
