Role Title: SAP Integration / Development Lead

Duration: 3 months + extensions

Preferred Location: Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (2-3 days onsite monthly)

Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration/Development Lead to drive integration strategy and solution delivery within our enterprise landscape. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Strategy & Architecture: Define and implement integration strategies using SAP BTP Integration Suite to align with enterprise objectives.
• Solution Design & Delivery: Design, build, and maintain integration flows leveraging SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, and related BTP services.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Optimization & Support: Monitor and fine-tune integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure solutions are highly available and reliable.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure integration solutions adhere to enterprise security standards and governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP integration technologies, including 3+ years with SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • SAP Cloud Integration (CPI)
  • SAP API Management
  • SAP Event Mesh
  • SAP Open Connectors
• Proven leadership skills with excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP BTP certifications (Integration Suite, Extension Suite, etc.).
• Experience with non-SAP integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Maximo, Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
