Job Details

Job Title: Scrum Master

Duration: Long-term

Location: Dallas, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams delivering healthcare-related products and services.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed product backlog aligned with business priorities.
  • Track and communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and release status to stakeholders.
  • Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Guide teams in adhering to healthcare data privacy and compliance requirements (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
  • Coordinate with other Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and stakeholders for program-level planning and dependencies.
  • Mentor team members on Agile best practices and principles.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational Agile transformation goals.

Required Qualification:

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
  • Strong background in healthcare domain payer, provider, EMR/EHR systems, claims processing, or healthcare interoperability.
  • Experience working under regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, ICD-10.
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban), and delivery in a scaled environment.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools (JIRA, Rally, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant-leadership skills.
