Description: About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Engineer with a strong hardware background and bilingual proficiency in Korean. This role focuses on testing and evaluating wireless handset products, troubleshooting hardware issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality before launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze test results and identify hardware issues during development and prototype builds.
- Collaborate with R&D teams and carriers (e.g., T-Mobile, Verizon) to resolve hardware-related problems.
- Track and manage hardware bugs, functional verification, and manufacturing support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for hardware projects and maintain project plans.
- Communicate effectively with HQ and other teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 0-5 years of experience in wireless product testing, hardware debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of testing processes and mobile hardware.
- Familiarity with industry standards for wireless communications (LTE, CDMA, GPS, Wi-Fi).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Bilingual in Korean and English (required).
- Experience with mobile/embedded processors and prototype bring-up.
- Understanding of cellular radio access standards and chipset operations.
- Round 1: Virtual interview with team lead and peer.
- Round 2: Virtual or face-to-face interview with manager.
- Assessment will focus on technical expertise and bilingual communication skills.
