About the Role
We are hiring a System Administrator to work on developing next-generation 3D computer vision platforms for AI/AR/VR applications. The role will focus on developing data pipeline, tooling, and infrastructure to enable high throughput low latency data processing with next-gen 3D computer vision algorithms.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience as a BI Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in SSRS report development, strong MSBI experience.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server and Snowflake, including their respective syntax, data structures, and query optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and data manipulation.
- Strong SQL experience with the ability to develop, tune and debug complex SQL applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve migration challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Working hands-on within data analytics, cloud, data warehousing, data modeling, etc.
- Managing client expectations, meeting deadlines, and working within an agile environment.
- Experience with a structured application development methodology, using any industry-standard Software Development Lifecycle, and agile methodologies.
- Experience in I.T. with strong understanding of best practices for building and designing visualization, proactive and being an advocate to client on best practices.
- Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Developing SSRS Reports, Paginated reports, Dundas charts, visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
- Excellent analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
- Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
- Experience in improving performance, optimization techniques for reports when using Snowflake Datawarehouse as backend.
- Script Conversion: Convert embedded T-SQL scripts within SSRS reports to Snowflake-compatible syntax, ensuring seamless functionality in the new environment.
- DB Connection: Repoint the underlying database connections of the 18 SSRS reports from SQL Server to Snowflake, establishing a stable connection between the reporting tool and the data warehouse.
- Column Mapping: Create comprehensive source-to-target mapping documentation to identify and address any schema changes required for the migration. This includes column name changes, table structure modifications, and ensuring data element consistency.
- Business Logic Preservation: Rigorously test and validate the migrated SSRS reports to ensure that their logic and output remain unchanged after the transition to Snowflake.
- UI Consistency: Maintain the integrity of the visualization and UI elements of the reports, ensuring a consistent user experience before and after migration.
- Query Optimization: Apply industry best practices, such as parameterization and optimization techniques, to improve the performance and structure of stored procedures within the SSRS reports.
- Accelerator Implementation: Utilize the Ascendion A.AVA-Insights Governance accelerator to streamline the migration process by automating the following tasks:
- Extraction of RDL metadata for report query, parameters, and variables.
- Analysis of schema changes between SQL Server and Snowflake
- Conversion of T-SQL scripts to Snow SQL.

Position Information
Salary Range:The salary for this position is between $100000 $120000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for a bonus based on the achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
