Piper Companies is hiring a DeltaV Automation Engineer for a growing BioPharma company located in Holly Springs, NC. The DeltaV Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. This role requires expertise in Emerson DeltaV DCS (Distributed Control System), with a focus on process optimization, validation, and compliance with industry regulations. The DeltaV Automation Engineer can work remote, but will need to work EST hours.

Responsibilities for the DeltaV Automation Engineer:
- Design, develop, and implement DeltaV automation solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Program and configure DeltaV DCS to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize automation systems to improve reliability and performance.
- Develop and execute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for automation systems.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and engineers on automation processes.
Requirements for the DeltaV Automation Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS, including programming, troubleshooting, and system design.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, automation validation, and regulatory compliance (GMP, FDA, ISA-88).
- Experience with Batch Process Automation is highly desirable.
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, and other automation systems.
- Familiarity with networking and industrial communication protocols.
Compensation for the DeltaV Automation Engineer:
- $ 140,000 - $170,000 depending on experience
