Pay Range: $19 - $21/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appeals & Grievances, pre-service and post-service member and provider appeals and member grievances. Teamwork involved, independent daily work assignments, collaboration across the department and various other departments within the company.
  • Coordinate appeals from start to finish, research denied or incorrectly paid claims or services, create and send letters to providers and members. 3 case closures per day minimum with 98% quality scores on internal audits.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key skills; Appeals & Grievances, pre-service and post-service member and provider appeals and member grievances.
  • Coordinate appeals from start to finish, research denied or incorrectly paid claims or services, create and send letters to providers and members
  • Letter writing skills
  • Critical thinking/research skills
  • Claims knowledge
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
