We are looking for a SME Tax Collector for our client in Ventura, CA
Job Title: SME Tax Collector
Job Location: Ventura, CA Job Type: Contract Job Description: Pay Range: $85hr -$90hr
Responsibilities:
- Taxation Expertise: Utilize advanced knowledge of tax concepts and terminology to guide the team and resolve complex tax-related issues.
- Business Requirements Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, including specialized needs such as those from Ventura County, Orange County or similar jurisdictions.
- Workload Management: Address and manage concerns regarding the quantity of work in the queue, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently.
- Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to provide tax insights and solutions, supporting both onsite and remote operations.
- Extensive experience in tax operations and compliance.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads and adapt to changing business needs.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to interpret and implement business requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing onsite collaboration and remote productivity.
