Intermediate Engineer, DevOps

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Intermediate Engineer, DevOps in South Florida area.

Overview:
The Intermediate Engineer, DevOps is responsible for enhancing the efficiency and reliability of software delivery pipelines. This role collaborates with development, operations, and security teams to ensure scalable and secure deployment processes through continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices. This role includes designing and implementing infrastructure as code (IaC), automating complex workflows, and improving system reliability. This role is responsible for building a resilient and scalable cloud infrastructure, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that our production environment is optimized for high availability and security.

Infrastructure Automation & Management:
* Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
* Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of servers, networks, and other infrastructure components
* Ensure that infrastructure meets security, performance, and compliance requirements, aligning with organizational and industry requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree
* 3+ years of experience in Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), including designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure at scale using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies
* 3+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate system processes, configuration management, and monitoring tasks; Experience with automating workflows and infrastructure operations through tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
* 2+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
