Who You Are
- Security-cleared Professional: Your trustworthiness is your badge of honor. You possess an active security clearance or have the capability to obtain and maintain higher clearance levels.
- Experienced Leader: With a Bachelor's degree and 4 to 8 years of relevant experience, your background in cybersecurity is solid. Your journey may have been recognized through certifications like Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or other pertinent credentials in the IT domain.
- Cyber Enthusiast: Your understanding of the cyber landscape, threat vectors, and attack methodologies is unparalleled. You're known for your problem-solving skills and have a track record of handling significant cyber incidents.
- Resilient Operator: Your adaptability shines through in challenging situations. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and manage incidents beyond standard hours is a trait we value.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a pivotal member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), adhering to an established operational rhythm and exceeding expectations.
- Engage in around-the-clock operations, ensuring shift coverage and prompt incident response.
- Take initiative in incident handling, offering direct support to customers and our management team, escalating as per protocols.
- Conduct thorough analyses of log data from a suite of security tools, identifying and mitigating anomalies effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement in SOC processes and tools, enhancing our mission's effectiveness.
- Act as a mentor to junior analysts, enriching their knowledge and skills.
- Showcase exceptional communication abilities alongside strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
