Client is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer for an immediate contract opportunity in Seattle, WA. Join the dynamic team to contribute to the development and testing of iOS applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and test iOS applications using Swift, Python, Java, or other languages.
- Automate tests with XCTest and write shell scripts for iOS app modifications.
- Debug and profile iOS apps using XCode.
- Analyze multi-tiered client-server environments for root causes.
- Test server backend services at the API or protocol level.
- Utilize various testing methodologies (unit, integration, end-to-end).
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit curiosity, proactivity, and a passion for learning.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Development or Quality Engineer.
- Proficiency in Swift, Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience with XCTest for test automation.
- Familiarity with XCode and ability to modify iOS app code.
- Understanding of logging and analytics concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
