JOB DESCRIPTION

SKILLS NEEDED : Cisco Network Engineer, CCNA and CCNP fundamentals, route switch and cloud networking and SD Wan, Cisco Nexus level devices, VPC and core routing and switching

Position Summary:

Client is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network infrastructure supporting on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based systems. This role is vital for ensuring secure data flows between environments and maintaining operational readiness for mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and support network infrastructure across data centers, QTS, OCI, and AWS environments.
  • Configure routers, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs for secure system connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues impacting application performance and uptime.
  • Collaborate with cloud and DevSecOps teams to optimize hybrid connectivity and SD- WAN configurations.
  • Monitor network health, capacity, and compliance using enterprise tools.
  • Document network topology, IP schemes, firewall rules, and access controls.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Expertise with routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, and network segmentation.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS/OCI VCNs, subnets, routing tables).
  • Understanding of zero trust network design principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
