Position: IT Analyst/ Desktop Support
Location: Monroe, NC - Onsite
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)
Hours: 8am-5 pm
Position is subject to export control screening **Work environment is mostly based in the office but could be requested to support on the plant for regarding network connections, printer hardware, operating systems, etc. **
Safety shoes are required and that would be the responsibility of the worker to provide these.
Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses would be provided (no screenings would be required)
Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Works with client to analyze and define the business process that needs an IT solution. Identifies and documents high-level requirements, maps future state of the solution, and ensures the system/solution meets business and user requirements.
Responsibilities: Document and map business process and requirements for the future state of the IT solution. Identify and understand the end user's need. Facilitate the business process redesign and documentation as needed.
Skills:
Ability to Configure, Deploy, Install, Migrate, Order, Patch, Replace, Support & Triage Site Infrastructure as follows: Workstations, Laptops, Tablets, Zebra & HP Printers, Servers, VMware, Terminal servers & Networking.
Provide Standard and Local Software Support VMware, Windows OS & Office suites.
Education: To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Two years of experience in Information Technology in a Manufacturing, private, public, government or military environment.
Experience with configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft PCs.
