Job Title: QA Lead
Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Employment Type: W2 Only
Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned QA Lead to oversee quality assurance efforts across complex, integrated enterprise systems. This role demands strong leadership in managing both onshore and offshore teams, deep technical expertise in test automation and backend testing, and a strategic mindset for planning and executing end-to-end testing. The ideal candidate will drive testing initiatives across platforms such as Salesforce, APIs, and databases, ensuring high-quality deliverables and alignment with Agile methodologies. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical execution with team coordination and stakeholder communication.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and test connectivity of integrated systems and components
  • Plan and execute end-to-end test scenarios across integrated applications
  • Estimate testing efforts, schedule activities, ensure requirements traceability, and report results to stakeholders
  • Analyze requirements and create key test deliverables including strategies, plans, scripts, scenarios, and test data
  • Define test cases and data mappings based on development documentation and business requirements
  • Identify regression testing scope and ensure adequate coverage
  • Detect, report, and manage defects through resolution
  • Participate in triage meetings to optimize test effectiveness during execution
  • Lead and guide both onshore and offshore System Integration Testing (SIT) teams
  • Identify project risks and communicate transparently with leadership
  • Construct test and metadata files (e.g., CSV, XML, JSON, PDF) for use in test cases
  • Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts using appropriate scripting/programming languages
  • Maintain test result documentation to support debugging and system modifications
  • Adhere to Agile methodologies, testing standards, and best practices
  • Build strong working relationships with technology partners and business users
  • Plan for future release scopes and assess partner team readiness
  • Develop risk mitigation plans for integration environment downtime or refreshes
  • Coordinate with integration teams for test data availability
  • Oversee performance testing activities
