Job Description
Position Title: Experienced Global Senior Systems Administrator
Type: Contract 3 months (possibility of extension)
Location: Sarasota, FL (On-Site or Remote)
Start Date: ASAP
Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Global Senior Systems Administrator for a 3-month contract (with potential extension). This role is critical to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficiency of our global IT infrastructure. We need a highly skilled professional who can start immediately, transition seamlessly into our environment, and provide advanced expertise across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Citrix, DNS/DHCP, and enterprise messaging technologies.
The successful candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with problem-solving ability, customer focus, and global systems experience.
Key Responsibilities
Active Directory & Identity Management
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-scale Active Directory environments.
- Manage users, groups, policies, and permissions in compliance with security standards.
- Perform upgrades, patching, monitoring, and health checks on AD and related infrastructure.
Microsoft 365 & Messaging Administration
- Provide global support for Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Azure AD.
- Configure and manage email systems, including mailbox provisioning, retention policies, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Troubleshoot mail flow and anti-spam issues.
Citrix Administration
- Maintain and support Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environments.
- Manage app publishing, profile management, and server maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix performance and connectivity issues.
Infrastructure & Networking
- Administer DNS (internal and external), DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Assist with LAN/WAN routing, switching, VLAN configuration, and IP subnetting.
Operations & Support
- Provide Level 3 technical support and escalate when required.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in after-hours support and scheduled weekend maintenance.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
Project Work
- Lead or contribute to migrations, deployments, and upgrades.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

- Backup, monitoring, and patch management tools
- Technical documentation and configuration management
Education & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent certification (highly desired)
- 5 7+ years of enterprise systems administration experience in a global setting
- Proven experience with Active Directory/LDAP, Microsoft 365, and infrastructure troubleshooting
