MDM Architect (Onsite Role)

Experience Required: 10+ years in MDM implementations

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced MDM Architect with deep expertise in Master Data Management implementations and strong hands-on exposure to Informatica IDMC platforms, including C360, B360, CDI, CAI, and CDQ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable MDM solutions, leading implementation efforts, and guiding technical teams to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with organizational data governance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end MDM architecture design, solutioning, and implementation.

• Translate business requirements into robust MDM technical solutions.

• Work extensively on IDMC (C360/B360/CDI/CAI/CDQ) to define data models, match/merge rules, hierarchy management, and integrations.

• Provide architectural guidance for data quality workflows, data pipelines, and data ingestion processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, engineering, and data teams to define and enforce MDM best practices.

• Conduct performance optimization, data validation, and troubleshooting for MDM components.

• Oversee technical teams and ensure adherence to project timelines, standards, and deliverables.

• Prepare architectural documents, deployment diagrams, and technical specifications.

Mandatory Skills (Primary Skills)

• 10+ years of strong experience in MDM implementations (Informatica preferred).

• Minimum 2+ years of recent hands-on experience in IDMC, specifically:

  • Customer 360 (C360)

  • Business 360 (B360)

  • Customer Data Integration (CDI)

  • Application Integration (CAI)

  • Cloud Data Quality (CDQ)

• Strong experience in MDM data modeling, match/merge rules, survivorship, and hierarchy management.

• Expertise in designing MDM workflows, integrating third-party systems, and handling large-scale enterprise data.

Secondary Skills

• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and reference data management.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).

• Experience with API integrations, REST services, and microservices-based architectures.

• Ability to mentor junior engineers and work in Agile delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Informatica or cloud certifications (IDMC, MDM, Data Quality).

• Experience in Retail, BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or similar large-scale domains.
