Job Details
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Manual QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team supporting Certina, a business application layer built on top of Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software quality assurance, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative personality that fosters trust and teamwork across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of the Certina application and its Salesforce integrations to ensure stability, accuracy, and functionality.
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA or similar tools, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on new features and enhancements.
- Validate data consistency and workflows within the Salesforce environment.
- Participate in release readiness reviews, providing clear QA sign-off.
- Continuously enhance QA processes to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing, preferably in enterprise or CRM-based applications.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or Salesforce-based platforms such as Certina.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and a trustworthy, collaborative, and proactive personality.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with API testing or SQL-based validation.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic understanding of automation concepts (nice to have).
