Job Title: IT System Analyst
Location: Lansing Mi (2 days onsite a week)

Job description
This position provides IT systems support to the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supporting the Department of Attorney General (AG), Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA), and Unemployment Insurance Appeals Commission (UIAC). This position functions as an information technology professional, participating in or overseeing a variety of analytical and programming assignments that provide for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of automated information
systems. These applications may run in network, client server, and/or web server environments. Duties include problem analysis, programming, peer code review, unit/system testing, testing related to Platform upgrades and Security updates, data loading using tools, Integrations with other applications, executing system tests, and managing software source control and versioning for developed code. This position will perform new development, enhancement, and maintenance work. This position will also require working with other Agency Services team(s) and DTMB enterprise teams.
Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform development; including but not limited to Microsoft Dynamics and Power Portal development (4-8 years)
Experience with Object Oriented Languages, XML/SOAP, JSON, REST API and Structured Query Language (4-8 years)
Knowledge of application and database development and access methods (4-8 years)
Knowledge of browser based (web) and object-oriented application design techniques and tools (3-5 years)
Ability to recognize, gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts; draw conclusions; investigate and define problems; and devise solutions and alternatives for automated information technology systems (3-5 years)
Ability to prepare detailed written instructions and documentation (3-5 years)
