Job Details
Requirements:
- 8 or more years of experience in software and database engineering for law enforcement state agencies.
- Proficiency in software solutions and application support within a state agency.
- Experience with the DPS License to Carry system.
- Experience with database engineering for law enforcement systems.
- Experience with full life-cycle software development (deduced).
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of existing applications (deduced).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level software and database engineering for agency applications.
- Support and maintain the DPS License to Carry system and related solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex software and database issues.
- Implement new features and enhancements to existing state agency applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure application alignment with law enforcement needs.
- Contribute to the strategic planning for new software solutions.
- Ensure application stability and performance in a high-priority environment.
