Pay Range: $30 - $35/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Reviewing claim activity based upon industry best practices and assessing compliance of best practices as it pertains to the handling of WC claims
  • Understanding current claim status and developing appropriate and aggressive strategies on legacy claims (older than 12 months) to either bring claim to resolution or to minimize costs
  • Monitoring adjuster activity to ensure strategies are executed upon
  • Evaluating reserve and settlement exposure
  • Reviewing appropriateness of legal strategie
  • Workmen's compensation with claims for lost time and litigation.
  • Claim Consultants are responsible for providing and/or assisting Client s Claim Closure Services (ACCS) Practice in the delivery of quality consulting services to clients.
  • To work independently as well as in a team atmosphere and participate in all delivery phases of ACCS that are assigned to this position.
  • Candidates for the Claim Consultant role will meet the following requirements:
  • At least three full years of adjusting Workers Compensation lost-time and litigated claims
  • Well-versed in lost-time claims, to include high-dollar settlement negotiations, litigation strategy, and MSAs
