Description APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Conduct end-to-end analyses across all AppleCare touch points, including data gathering from large and complex datasets, and analyses using advanced statistical and machine learning (ML) methods. Collaborate with internal partners and cross-functional teams to define and refine business and research questions and use analytics, data mining, statistical techniques, and ML to address questions. Drive the generation of insights from raw, unstructured data to improve existing features and explore future directions. Identify content, navigation and user experience elements that impact customer satisfaction via deep analysis, A/B testing and multivariate testing approaches. Present findings from analytics and research and make recommendations to leadership and cross-functional business partners. Develop extensive knowledge of existing metrics. Create new metrics for performance measurement and advocate for changes to existing metrics where needed. Lead data science and analytics projects through their entire lifecycle, including problem identification, scope management, analytics design, data gathering, data processing, analysis, algorithm design, deployment, measurement, and report generation. Partner with peers to build and prototype analytics pipelines that provide insights at scale. Evangelize adoption of best practices and build greater awareness of common data analysis pitfalls. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Operation Research, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 2 years of experience with the following skills:
- Using statistical techniques to generate insights and patterns from raw unstructured data
- Using Machine Learning techniques to identify anomalous trends, creating best suited solutions via recommendations for customers
- Leading end-to-end analytics projects to identify problems, design analytics plan, problem identification, scope management, analytics design, gather and process data, analyze and produce reports
- Utilizing Python, R and SQL to process huge quantum of data in a short span of time.
- Utilizing data visualization tools to provide insights focusing on customer behavior
- Applying Data Science concepts to identify common themes and clusters in huge data sets and make it available for easy consumption and analysis
- Providing actionable insights to help business take decisions focusing on customer experience based on statistical analysis
