Description:

A Product Owner (PO) with Data and Analytics domain, is responsible for managing data products and platforms, ensuring they deliver value and actionable insights. They collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, prioritize features, and develop product specifications, ultimately driving product launches. They are essentially the product champion, setting the vision and roadmap for the data product.

Key Responsibilities of a Data Product Owner:

  • Understanding Stakeholder Needs: Identifying the needs and requirements of business stakeholders and end-users to ensure data products meet their needs.
  • Prioritizing Features: Working with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and development efforts based on business value and impact.
  • Product Vision and Roadmap: Defining the product vision and roadmap for data products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Data Product Management: Managing data products and platforms, ensuring they deliver actionable insights and value to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with various teams, including engineering, data science, and business stakeholders, to drive product development and delivery.
  • Driving Product Launches: Ensuring the successful launch of data products by collaborating with the development team and stakeholders.
