Description
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will design, implement, and support advanced networking solutions, with a particular emphasis on Arista technologies, including switching and wireless systems. Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage Arista-based network systems, including spine-leaf architectures.
Configure and operate Arista switches, routers, and wireless access points to ensure seamless connectivity.
Utilize Arista CloudVision for network automation, telemetry, and orchestration.
Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across diverse environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and alignment with organizational goals.
Monitor network performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization.
Document network configurations, topology, and maintenance procedures for future reference.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide escalation support when necessary.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Arista technologies.
Proficiency in Arista switches, CloudVision, and wireless infrastructure.
Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and VLAN.
Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting languages like Python or Ansible.
Solid knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as NetFlow and Syslog.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex issues.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
