Job Overview:
This role drives best-in-class analytics across digital platforms, including the aa.com mobile app and airport technologies. The Data Analyst will work with various digital products and teams to understand business needs and provide data-backed insights into customer behavior to improve the user experience on digital and airport technology assets. The position involves collaboration with Product Management, Data Engineering, Customer Insights, User Experience, and other external stakeholders to promote data-driven decision-making, support site enhancements, monitor digital platforms for potential issues, and analyze visitor behavior to achieve organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Create health monitoring dashboards and alerts for all products using tools like Adobe Analytics, Azure Databricks, Teradata, Qualtrics, Celebrus, and Quantum Metrics.
• Utilize data to identify root causes impacting system health and resolve issues.
• Build dashboards, ad-hoc reports, and conduct deep dives to measure OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
• Collaborate with product teams to identify and track relevant OKRs.
• Integrate digital data with other data sources to drive deeper insights into customer behavior.
• Work with stakeholders to track and monitor the digital voice of the customer, drive insights, and identify areas of opportunity.
• Prepare updates for leadership and stakeholder teams.
• Promote and lead the adoption of digital analytical tools through training sessions and office hours.
• Share best practices and develop systems knowledge to deliver new reports and enhance existing ones to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with the Data Organization and Data Engineering teams to drive long-term strategic investments and improve data quality.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PowerBI/Tableau.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Python.
• Nice to have: Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics and Quantum Metric experience.
• Driven, self-motivated, and passionate about data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex challenges.
• Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.

Pay Range: $55 - $60

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
