Job Overview:
Our data engineers are driving the capability to make data-driven decisions that enhance operations, customer experiences, and employee satisfaction. As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enabling data engineering solutions, collaborating with a team that thrives on innovation. This position is part of the Data Engineering and Analytics team within the Technology group, where you will leverage your data engineering, collaboration, and analytics expertise to foster a data-driven culture by designing and delivering analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that provide actionable insights.
• Develop and implement data migration and engineering solutions using Azure products and services, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
• Perform various aspects of the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering, infrastructure, network security, data modeling, testing, CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning, and deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate within a team environment while also working independently.
• Be part of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports its product.
• Implement batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies.
• Lead the development of coding standards, best practices, and privacy and security guidelines.
• Mentor team members on technical and domain skills to create multi-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
• 2 years of experience in software solution development using agile DevOps in a product model, including designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions.
• 2 years of data analytics experience using SQL.
• 1 year of cloud development and data lake experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure, including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Spark, Unix, and SQL.
• Familiarity with data platforms like Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake, and Azure Data Explorer.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Terraform.
• Proficiency in BI analytics tools like Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Denodo, and Grafana.
• Knowledge of data warehousing tools like DataStage and Informatica.
• Understanding of data governance and privacy tools such as Informatica Axon, EDC, and BigID.
• Preferred: 3 years of software solution development experience, 3 years of data analytics experience using SQL, and 2 years of full-stack development experience, preferably in Azure.
• Airline industry experience is a plus.
• Azure Development Track Certification and Spark Certification are preferred.

Pay Range: $30 - $35

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
